Football Game Preview: Clark County Indians vs. Highland Cougars + How To Watch

Clark County has gone 9-1 against Highland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will head out to challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Clark County will be strutting in after a victory while Highland will be coming in after a loss.

Clark County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 32-20 win over Westran on Friday. The Indians pushed the score to 32-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hornets cut but never quite recovered from.

Brennan Fuller had a dynamite game, rushing for 98 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Lukas Weaver did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 115 receiving yards.

Clark County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Weaver.

Meanwhile, Highland fell victim to Monroe City and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 68-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Clark County moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Clark County took their win against Highland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 40-16 score. In that game, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 32-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
