Basketball Recap: Houston Takes a Loss

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 87-66 to the Licking Wildcats. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 61-47 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Houston's record now sits at 1-6. As for Licking, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houston will venture away from home to take on Newburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Licking, they will face off against Willow Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Licking has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 243 points over their last three contests.
