Soccer Recap: Jupiter Christian Triumphs

Jupiter Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cardinal Newman Crusaders 2-1. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Lucas Maxim was the driving force of Jupiter Christian's attack as he scored both of Jupiter Christian's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

The win got Jupiter Christian back to even at 5-5-1. As for Cardinal Newman, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Jupiter Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 defeat against Pine on the 13th. Cardinal Newman has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Suncoast on the 11th.
