Softball Recap: Union Grove Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Union Grove's offense. They came up short against the Lindale Eagles on Thursday, falling 17-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in February of 2021.

This is the second loss in a row for Union Grove and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Lindale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Union Grove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Tyler Legacy on the 21st. As for Lindale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-0 win against Big Sandy on the 21st.
