Magdalena had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 44-point drubbing they dealt Hatch Valley on Tuesday. The Magdalena Steers breezed by the Hatch Valley Bears to the tune of 61-17. The Steers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Magdalena's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elia Cleveland, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 19 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Cleveland a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jema Ganadonegro, who went 5 of 12 en route to 15 points and five steals.

The victory (which was Magdalena's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. As for Hatch Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
