Basketball Recap: Pisgah Bears vs. North Henderson Knights

Pisgah lost against North Henderson back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pisgah Bears took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Henderson Knights. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Henderson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jameer Patel led the charge by putting up 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Patel a new career-high in points. Brayden Hudson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Pisgah's record is now 6-10. As for North Henderson, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-8 record.

Pisgah will host Smoky Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smoky Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Pisgah likes a good challenge. As for North Henderson, they will square off against West Henderson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Henderson is facing West Henderson at the right time seeing as West Henderson is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
