Baseball Recap: Alma Center Lincoln Falls to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran in First Game of Season

Alma Center Lincoln unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Stetzer Sean made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Stetzer Drew was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Coincidentally, Alma Center Lincoln and Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran will both be playing Pepin/Alma the next time they take the field. The Lancers will head out to face Pepin/Alma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
