Recap: Lakeside vs. Pullman
Pullman took care of business in their home opener. They captured a comfortable 41-23 win over Lakeside.
Pullman's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. Lakeside came up with 16 to make it 21-16 heading into the break. The offense for Pullman continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points to put the game away.
Junior Isaiah Strong, who caught passes for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Connor Coulter, who racked up 10 tackles. This was the first game for both teams, giving Pullman a 1-0 record and starting Lakeside off at 0-1.
Pullman are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against North Central next week at 5:00 PM. Lakeside will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Omak at 7:30 PM.
