Baseball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta was the 6-5 winner over Golden Sierra when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Delta Saints fell just short of the Golden Sierra Grizzlies by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The loss was the Saints' first of the season.

Cole Hutson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ayden Barrett was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Having lost for the first time this season, Delta fell to 2-1.
