Basketball Recap: Schaumburg Christian Conquerors vs. Harvest Christian Academy Lions
Schaumburg Christian lost against Harvest Christian Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Harvest Christian Academy Lions.

Schaumburg Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elliot Foy, who posted 16 points. The dominant performance also gave Foy a new career-high in blocks (two). Lucas Bustamante was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six boards and five assists.
Harvest Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Elijah Bell, who went 7 of 13 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds. Bell is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Foster, who scored five points.
Schaumburg Christian's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9. As for Harvest Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schaumburg Christian will square off against Crossroads Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Schaumburg Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they will take on South Beloit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
