A well-balanced attack led Patrick Henry over Mission Bay in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. The Patrick Henry Patriots blew past the Mission Bay Buccaneers 43-23. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Patrick Henry got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayla Collins out in front who posted eight points in addition to six boards and four steals. Collins has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kimora Nears, who had six points and six rebounds.

Patrick Henry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mission Bay only pulled down 12 offensive boards.

Despite the loss, Mission Bay still got an impressive performance from Jackie Quiachon, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards. That was a full 56.5% of Mission Bay's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points per game. As for Mission Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
