Baseball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Branch on Tuesday, Princeton came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Spring Lake Park Panthers by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since May 20, 2024.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Spring Lake Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Princeton will square off against Chisago Lakes Area at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spring Lake Park, they will face off against Osseo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
