The New Community School is a perfect 4-0 against Richmond Christian since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The New Community School will head out on the road to face off against Richmond Christian at 4:30 p.m. Richmond Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on The New Community School, who comes in off a win.

While Sabers fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Grove Christian School on Tuesday.

Chase King made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). King was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

King wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Reese Diatelevi, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Richmond Christian's offense. They came up short against Peninsula Catholic on Tuesday, falling 18-0.

The New Community School beat Richmond Christian 4-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Will The New Community School repeat their success, or does Richmond Christian has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
