Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Harriman

Harriman waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 70-44 margin over Jellico. This was a revenge game for Harriman: when they faced off against Jellico back in December of 2024, they had to take a 75-74 loss.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gavin Dabney, who went 5-for-11 en route to 10 points. Another player making a difference was Blake Shelby, who posted four points and six boards.

Harriman pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Jellico, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Harriman nor Jellico have any future games scheduled.
