Volleyball Recap: Nation Ford Triumphs

Nation Ford had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Wilson Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Matthew Scott paced Nation Ford's offense, picking up six kills. Scott got some help from PJ Mazhari and his nine assists. Mazhari also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Om Horaginamani, racking up three apiece.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Nation Ford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Mauldin on the 23rd. As for Wilson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Catawba Ridge on the 23rd.
