Baseball Game Preview: Aledo Bearcats vs. Colleyville Heritage Panthers

For the second straight game, Aledo will face off against Colleyville Heritage. The Bearcats will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Aledo 1.8, Colleyville Heritage 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Aledo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Colleyville Heritage by a score of 4-1.

Devin Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luke Gladchuk, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Aledo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.
