Basketball Recap: Millry Takes a Loss

Millry lost against McIntosh last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Millry Wildcats came up short against the McIntosh Demons, falling 68-42. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Jakari Braggs was a one-man wrecking crew for McIntosh as he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Braggs a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Grant Horn, who posted 15 points and five rebounds.

Millry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for McIntosh, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Millry will host Fruitdale at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millry is facing Fruitdale at the right time seeing as Fruitdale is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for McIntosh, they will head out to face off against Southern Choctaw at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
