Basketball Recap: St. Clair Takes a Loss

St. Clair lost to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cyclones lost to the Knights on the road by a 72-57 margin.

St. Clair's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, St. Clair will welcome Loyola at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cyclones will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.61 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, they will venture away from home to square off against Jackson County Central at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
