Baseball Recap: Channelview Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Channelview's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats as the Channelview Falcons made off with a 14-4 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Channelview is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. Hull-Daisetta is on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Channelview will square off against Summer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summer Creek will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Channelview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hull-Daisetta, they will face off against Leggett at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Hull-Daisetta has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
