Softball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss

South Garner fell victim to Clayton and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Comets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost eight in a row.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Clayton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, South Garner will be playing at home against Fuquay - Varina at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Garner at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
