The Firebirds blew past the Vikings 4-1 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lawrence Free State needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit Shawnee Mission West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Siena Schamberger (2), Neylana Haque, and Lauren Woods.

Meanwhile, Olathe East kept a clean sheet against Gardner-Edgerton on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trailblazers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Olathe East.

Olathe East's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Lawrence Free State, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
