Basketball Recap: Brandeis' Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Clark came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Brandeis, but Sean Tisdall wouldn't allow it. The Brandeis Broncos had just enough and edged the Clark Cougars out 64-62 thanks in part to Tisdall, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Brandeis moved to 18-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Clark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-10.

Brandeis and Clark should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Brandeis (ranked 207th) will meet Madison (ranked 472nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Brandeis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season. Similarly, Clark will challenge SA Roosevelt at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 218 places (128 vs. 346).
