Chico came out on top against Forestburg on Friday thanks in part to Talon Smith's efforts. Smith was excellent, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 8.7 boards per game.

Smith and Chico won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Perrin-Whitt at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday. The Pirates will enter the matchup having just beaten Forestburg, so the Dragons will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
