Volleyball Recap: Nipmuc Regional's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Nipmuc Regional strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Millis Mohawks 3-0. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mohawks, too.

Haden Houachanthara paced Nipmuc Regional's offense, picking up 11 kills. Houachanthara got some help from Dolan Comforti and his 19 assists. Comforti was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Nipmuc Regional pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Millis, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Nipmuc Regional has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Westwood on the 17th. After both having extra time off, Millis and Norton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Mohawks surely won't give up without a fight.
