Basketball Game Preview: Prescott Tigers vs. Touchet Redhawks

Prescott is on a 13-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Touchet a seven-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Prescott Tigers will host the Touchet Redhawks at 7:30 p.m. Prescott has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Prescott is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were beaten by Yakama Nation Tribal 77-45 on Friday.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-12, which was the final score in Touchet's tilt against Liberty Christian on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Redhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Patriots are ranked 181st).

Touchet's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Prescott was dealt a bruising 54-20 loss at the hands of Touchet when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Prescott avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
