Soccer Recap: Keystone Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northern Potter, Keystone was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Punxsutawney Chucks 3-2. Keystone have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Punxsutawney, too.

Bryce Mount and Samuel Fye scored all three of Keystone's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Keystone's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for Punxsutawney, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Keystone will take on rival Redbank Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Punxsutawney is set to challenge their familiar foe Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
