Softball Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short

Alhambra lost against Temple City back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Alhambra Moors lost 15-4 to the Temple City Rams.

Alhambra saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amari Antunez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Alhambra always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Alhambra's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Temple City, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Alhambra wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-1 loss against South El Monte on the 25th. As for Temple City, they have also already played their next game, an 11-7 defeat against Mark Keppel on the 25th.
