Del Mar won the last time they faced Yerba Buena and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Del Mar Dons' way against the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors as the Del Mar Dons made off with a 61-39 win. That looming 61-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dons yet this season.

Despite the loss, Yerba Buena still got an impressive performance from Brandon Tran, who posted 26 points. Tran continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Brylin Thomas was another key player, putting up eight points.

Del Mar is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points over those games. As for Yerba Buena, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-21.
