Baseball Recap: Cloquet Takes a Loss

Cloquet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks, falling 12-6. If the Lumberjacks were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Thunderhawks when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bo Harriman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brody Dushkin, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Cloquet's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Grand Rapids, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cloquet will challenge Hibbing at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Rapids, they will face off against Denfeld at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
