Volleyball Recap: Eads Eagles vs. Otis Bulldogs
Eads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otis Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 13-25, 25-20, 25-19.
Eads' offense was headlined by
Anna Wollert and
Bailey Sierra, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from
Aspen Nelson and her 15 assists. Wollert and Sierra didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.
Eads' loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Otis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
