Soccer Recap: Okeechobee Comes Up Short

Okeechobee lost against Martin County back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Okeechobee Brahmans came up short against the Martin County Tigers, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Brahmans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Tigers are ranked 117th).

This is the second loss in a row for Okeechobee and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Martin County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Okeechobee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against South Fork on the 4th. Martin County has also already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Lincoln Park Academy on the 3rd.
