Christian Brothers's Ramadi Warren rumbled for the longest rushing play in Division II AA - West this season in his game against Evangelical Christian last week. Warren ran for 79 yards on the play and finished with 91 on the day as his team topped the Eagles.
Briarcrest Christian suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after falling to White Station. The Saints had been ranked 25th, but fell to 37 following the defeat.
Christian Brothers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Breck Ruddick threw for 27 yards and Greg Sanders had 19 yards receiving. Benjamin Gallagher helped Christian Brothers' passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Memphis University's Jordan Rodgers and Devin Perry have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rodgers has thrown for 1611 yards this season, while Perry, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 25 catches for 436 yards. Kurtis Hicks from Kevin Locastro's team leads the league in rushing with 682 yards.
