Basketball Game Preview: Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles vs. Deerfield-Windsor Knights

The Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles and the Deerfield-Windsor Knights will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.

Sherwood Christian Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 72 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Brookwood on Friday. They were dealt a 68-19 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Deerfield-Windsor put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 65-50 win over Citizens Christian Academy. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Patriots are ranked 120th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Deerfield-Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Sherwood Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Deerfield-Windsor in their previous meeting last Thursday and fell 54-51. Can Sherwood Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
