Grand Saline is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They escaped with a win against Troup by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Perhaps the best among them was Blane Thompson, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine assists. The dominant performance also gave Thompson a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%). Another player making a difference was Landon Mayne, who went 9-for-19 to rack up 18 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Hooks waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 65-46.

Hooks' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Grand Saline, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
