Soccer Game Preview: Hinckley-Big Rock vs. Plano

The Hinckley-Big Rock Royals will square off against the Plano Reapers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hinckley-Big Rock's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Hinckley-Big Rock's offense. They lost 8-0 to Mendota on Monday.

Meanwhile, Plano can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They and Mendota finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for Plano as the squad haven't won a game since April 3rd.

Hinckley-Big Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. With that draw, Plano's record moves to 1-10-1.

Hinckley-Big Rock couldn't quite get it done against Plano when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 5-3. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
