Softball Game Preview: Parke Heritage Wolves vs. Riverton Parke Panthers

Parke Heritage is 2-8 against Riverton Parke since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wolves will welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Parke Heritage has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Parke Heritage is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 21-8 to Seeger. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Riverton Parke kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Riverton Parke pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Parke Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
