Basketball Recap: Papillion-LaVista Monarchs vs. Fremont Tigers
Papillion-LaVista won the last time they faced Fremont and things went their way on Friday too. The Papillion-LaVista Monarchs claimed a resounding 68-40 victory over the Fremont Tigers. The Monarchs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Papillion-LaVista was led to victory by Rease Murtaugh and Aubree Fettin. Murtaugh went 9 of 18 to rack up 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Fettin went 7 for 9 en route to 15 points and seven boards. Murtaugh's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 21 points. Liv Barry-Capece was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

As for Fremont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-49 loss against Omaha Northwest on the 8th.
