Softball Recap: Hale County Triumphs

Hale County's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights, sneaking past 9-8. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Hale County's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Hale County will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Greensboro at 4:30 p.m. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will square off against Lamar County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
