After losing to Berkeley Springs the last time they met, Hancock decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Hancock came out on top against Berkeley Springs by a score of 7-3 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Blaire Ray made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Ray was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Logan Hendershot was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Chandler Buskirk, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

Hancock's record is now 2-0. As for Berkeley Springs, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will host Northern Garrett at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will square off against Mountain Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
