Softball Recap: Salmon Savages vs. Ririe Bulldogs

Salmon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ririe Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-5 loss last Thursday.

Abby Jackson was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and five unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
