Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Imperial hit Central with a four-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The Spartans have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Imperial, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5-1.
