Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jordan Jardneaux and Bryson Hardy Lead Sulphur to Victory

Sulphur won the last time they faced St. Louis Catholic and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Tors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saints, sneaking past 13-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tors.

Sulphur was led to victory by Bryson Hardy and Jordan Jardneaux. Hardy rushed for 50 yards and one score, while Jardneaux gained 70 total yards.

Sulphur's run defense was locked in: St. Louis Catholic could only muster 2.5 yards per carry. While two picked up at least 12 total tackles, Jasper Grimball stood above the rest. He made 12 total tackles. Sulphur's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.9.

Sulphur's record now sits at 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sulphur will head out to challenge Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Louis Catholic, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Bunkie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
