Prosser entered their tilt with Schurz on Friday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-2 win. Ten seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jeremy Del Rio made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Julius Rivera and Nathan Montes did most of the damage at the plate: Rivera got on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs, while Montes got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Prosser is undefeated when Rivera posts two or more runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Julian Cebrero, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Prosser always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. They are 8-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Prosser's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Schurz, they moved to 5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Prosser by a score of 5-4 later that day.
