Prattville Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the LAMP Golden Tigers a 9-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ethan Walls and Luke Lawson made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Walls didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Lawson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance gave Walls a new career-low in hits. At bat, Walls went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Lawson scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Blake Bowman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Masters, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Prattville Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for LAMP, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Prattville Christian Academy and LAMP should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Prattville Christian Academy (ranked 11th) will meet Tallassee (ranked 188th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
