Cambridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Mullen Broncos 3-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Brooklyn Holtze paced Cambridge's offense, picking up 19 kills. Holtze got some help from Mallory Springer and her 14 assists. Springer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
Cambridge's victory bumped their record up to 27-7. As for Mullen, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.
Cambridge has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller on the 7th. Mullen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
