Basketball Game Preview: Milford Eagles vs. Lakeview Vikings

The Milford Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Lakeview Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Milford has six straight victories, Lakeview has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Saturday, Milford beat Thayer Central 59-47.

Meanwhile, Lakeview came up short against Aquinas on Saturday and fell 60-47.

Milford's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Lakeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Milford skirted past Lakeview 30-27 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Will Milford repeat their success, or does Lakeview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
