Football Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Spring Lions        
        
		
             MacArthur is 0-7 against Spring since October of 2016 but things could change  on Friday. The MacArthur Generals will welcome the Spring Lions  at 7:00  p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 MacArthur is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They breezed by Aldine on the road  to the tune of  35-0 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Generals needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
 Meanwhile, Spring can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Saturday. They blew past Eisenhower, posting  a  27-0 win on the road.
 The critical scores for Spring came from  Cameron Johnson and  Kannon Charles.
 Spring didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Charles led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.  Kye Milage is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made eight or more in the last four games he's  played.
 MacArthur's victory  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-4. As for Spring, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-5.
 MacArthur took a serious blow against Spring  when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, falling  51-0. Can MacArthur avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
