Basketball Recap: Kalaheo Comes Up Short

Kalaheo suffered their biggest loss since January 4th on Saturday. They were dealt a 66-17 defeat at the hands of the Kahuku Red Raiders. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kalaheo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Kahuku, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

When Kalaheo and Kahuku next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Kalaheo will try to stop Moanalua's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kahuku will take on Castle and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
