Grant hadn't done well against Piedmont recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Generals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. For Grant, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory Piedmont walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Grant has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those seven matchups. As for Piedmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8-1.
