Baseball Recap: Salisbury Wins Going Away Against Westran

Salisbury barely beat Westran the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Hornets 8-1 on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Salisbury and bumps their season record up to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Westran, they moved to 10-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Salisbury didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-4 win against Meadville on the 29th. As for Westran, they will head out on the road to face off against Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
